Comics around the world
Here is another interesting article on how comics are viewed around the world. I find it fascinating that these is such a universal theme and accepted yet not many people truly exploit it to that level.

Finished issue
So late last night I finished writing one of the more difficult issues of Adam Zero. It wasn't that I didn't know what I wanted to do as much as it was just hard putting it all into some type of cohesive script that people could follow. Hopefully I succeeded and it'll be well received. Now I move onto the big wrap up issue for this story arc. I'm going to try and bang this one out much quicker so I can move onto the next one.
Also finished another backup of Marshal Tyme and i'm working on another Spy Killer script. I think it helps to have had one of the best days I had in a long time yesterday. I had been planning on attending NY Comic Con but I had to stay home and I would up spending most of the day playing with my daughter. Best day I've had all year.

Lost beacon....
New Adam Zero page. Seems to be some type of lost beacon floating in space. I wonder what that could be about..... This page is from another issue of Adam Zero that is fully illustrated and just awaiting colors and some lettering. I'll post some more cool artwork over the weekend to get you guys all ready for the next issue of Adam Zero. Which by the way should be next month. I already got issue 2 in the mail and am really happy with the way it turned out. WOOHOO!

Preview
Page from a future issue of Adam Zero. Everything is done on this issue except for some lettering. So it is just waiting its turn to see the light of day. Art by Adam Masterman and colors by Zack Turner. This is also the introduction of a new bad guy for Adam Zero. Won't say much about him but he isn't very nice as you can see from the page.
He's back.....
Creed the Hunter will be making his return to the pages of Adam Zero. So just what has one of the galaxies baddest men been up to since being blown into outer space? You'll just have to check out upcoming issues of Adam Zero to find out. Issue 3 is just about done on the lettering front and some minor edits. And Issue 4 is moving along nicely, it should be off to the colorist this week. Future issues are already colored and awaiting lettering and others are in various stages of completion. Including the very cool issue Kong is working on. Which I think will wind up being issue 8 from the looks of things. But that could change depending on the schedule.
Also trying to work out the backups for each issue. And there might be a few who wind up with no backups. Though I hope to avoid that. Marshal Tyme should have a backup in Issue 3 and perhaps issue 4 but that is up in the air at the moment.
Working on the scripts for the second arc. Doing some edits and finishing off the story. Which should be followed by either a stand alone or perhaps a two off arc. Before we get started on bigger things and some introductions for new characters. As always i'll keep you updated.

Mourning
Sorry I havent posted in a few days. But we had a very unexpected death in the family. We're still dealing with issues from it while also having another family member in the hospital for surgery. So it has been very hectic. I will try and post some cool stuff either later today or tomorrow.

Ralph McQuarrie Stormtroopers
So George Lucas is sueing and being countersued from some guy claming to be the man who created the stormtroopers look. So therefore he should hold the copyright. That would come as a big surprise to one of my favorite artists, Ralph McQuarrie as he created all the looks of the Star Wars characters with his concept art.

Back in the 80's when wrestling was fun The Hammer was one of my favs. A friend pointed me to this interview of The Hammer looking like he needs to sit down and stop taking hits to the head. Check it out.

Writing video
Playing with new software. I'll be adding small videos of the process I use to write. This is a new issue of Adam Zero that will most likely be a stand alone issue. I'll do the first draft. And then begin all my rewrites. I won't be showing everything I do but I will do new vids from time to time to show you how it is progressing.

Bummed
Long weekend that started with a toothache progressed to the internet being down almost all day yesterday and then moved into a rather frustrating situation with Ronin Studios. Well it seems the super secret project I was working on which was a studio wide crossover is now a thing of the past. So I wrote two issues and wasted a bunch of time on something that now is not happening. I'm just so tired I can't even deal right now.

Wolverine and The X-Men???
Okay so I feel I keep up on these things pretty well but this one is something I am just finding out about. This is apparently a new X-Men cartoon that is only going to be on the BBC for the moment. Kind of like how Doctor Who was only aired on BBC and not over here in the states for its first year, mostly due to US stations not having a clue. But this one surprises me as the X-Men is a known commodity in the US. I'll post some more when I learn it.

Marshal Tyme pages
Here is some new artwork for a Marshal Tyme backup story from Adam Zero issue #3. This drawn by Eran Aviana who has done a great job capturing the look of the old west. I fully intend to collect all the Marshal Tyme backups in a trade paperback one of these days. He is a character i really just enjoy playing around with and is alot of fun to write. I do have some longterm plans for him and maybe even a limited series somewhere down the line. He'll most likely be taking a break from backup chores after issue 3 or 4 to make room for some other characters.
Creed the Hunter should be getting a backup. As well as a pulp inspired character and even possibly a superhero. I have concept work done on both of them as well as stories written for both just waiting to find the right artist to realize them.
Still also working on the super secret project and Spy Killer with Marcelo. Issue one is coming along great and I have most of issue 2 written and will send it to him soon. And I've been talking to a fellow Roninite about a crossover that could be very cool.
