Here is a new page from the latest Marshal Tyme story the "Train Job". This is coming along wonderfully and will be the back up feature in Issue 3 of Adam Zero.
Some more character designs for the great Black heron short that is coming your way. Luis Rivera is doing outstanding work on this short and I really think you guys will enjoy it. I know I loved writing it. Just who is the Black Heron? You'll find out soon enough.
Page 1 of Adam Zero #4 for your viewing pleasure. Pages are coming along nicely and will start getting lettered shortly. All while I am also in the process of dealing with the new house. Which leads me to my meaculpa as I haven't been posting as much since I am so busy. I'll try and keep up as much as possible. But I have to make the house livable so it is taking up a large chunk of time. But never fear hearty reader we shall prevail!!
Here are some colored pages from issue 4 of Adam Zero. There has been a slight delay with Issue three as we are going to wait to add in the Marshal Tyme short for the backup. But it should still be avaiable for sale next month. Then Marshal Tyme goes on the break I've been mentioning for awhile now. And he'll be replaced by a new character who I've been posting some shots of, The Black Heron. A superhero short that has a mystery edge to it.
Also some fun news on the Marshal Tyme front as he'll be getting new adventures down the line and at least one will be written by Marshal Tyme colorist Anthony Lee. Not as though he has enough on his plate with all the great work he pumps out. But he has taken on the task of writing a new short for us as well.
These pages were done by the great Luis Rivera. This is going to be the next big backup feature of Adam Zero after Marshal Tyme. My little slice of the superhero pie. More to come....
I was suppose to attend this con and missed out due to buying a house. Totally bummed me out. But was able to send stuff along to the wonderful Diana Greenhalgh who pimped it at the Ronin booth for me. Fooray the artist for Razor Kid helped man the booth and sounds like all had a good time.
A pretty decent (anytime they dont use pow or bam in an article title on comics I am happy) CNN article about the 1950's comic censorship. It mostly talks about the crackdown on the industry but the interviewed author seems to know his stuff. I'll probably pick up the book to check it out. Click the link below to see it for yourself.
Try out by artist Joe Schiller who is most likely doing a new back up feature in Adam Zero. And no it won't be about Adam Zero but an all new character. Marshal Tyme will have off for a few issues but don't worry he won't go away for ever. he should still be in issue 3 but starting issue 4 we'll have two new and diffrent back-ups for a little while.
